Mile End Skate Park Graffiti - July

The ever-changing walls of Mile End Skate Park (London) are one of the few places a writer can paint without fear of arrest (unless you happen to be writing your tag at same time as passing cops who recognises it from elsewhere). On one level it sounds great but on another it also means that your work of art can be painted over in less than a day. In today's world of digital cameras the writer paints and then takes the shot for the album (or online social networks).

SER - Old Skool Graffiti Writer says Dont Panic!



Legendary graffiti artist SER aka Darren Cullen hails from South London and began his graffiti career way back in 1983, pioneering UK street art ever since.

Working outwards from London, he began a systematic campaign to get his work out across every major transport system in the UK. However, there comes a point in every graffiti artist's career when their success becomes of increasing interest to the police and local authorities.

This spurred SER into forming the Graffiti Kings, the UK's first professional graffiti art company and graffiti artist agency. He has worked with companies ranging from Kiss to Reebok, and Sony Playstation to the BBC.
