One Million Dollar ArtBike

The CosmicStar Cruiser ArtBike was created by the artist Jack Armstrong and has the quoted price tag of one million dollars...

'Created over a 6 month period on a SOLE beach cruiser made in Los Angeles, the $1 million ARTBike from Armstrong is truly a functional piece of art. After winning the SOLE bike through an arm wrestling match with American Artist Kelsey Fisher, Armstrong began the task of repainting the bike in his "cosmic extensionalism" style of art. The bike was created in collaboration with Fisher and the two cannot wait to unveil it.'

'This artbike is like nothing seen before in the art, or street world. It was created in the cosmic extensionalism school of art I founded in 2000. It is extreme textures, colors and hidden words & symbols concealed in the paint. It is twice the value of the Hirst butterfly bike created by Damien's assistant's & sold for a charity event in N.Y. I hope to inspire artists everywhere to collaborate and change the high end world of art in 2013. Talent will be the new wave, as the "factory system" of produced objects run by Jeff Koons, & Damien Hirst and formerly sold by Dealer"s like Jay Jopling & Larry Gagosian is crumbling. 12M.$ Dead Sharks and 25M.$ "Balloon DOGS," now seems as 'weak' as the non-artist work, that it remains. Artist, Jack Armstrong L.A.' Posted to LSD Magazine
