Olympic Village Street Art 2012

We all know there was a major Pre-Crime (thought crimes) clean up of the city prior to the Olympics and currently ongoing. Several prominent street artists and two graffiti artists were asked to paint at the Olympic Village. Most of them turned it down including street artist Stik. We were glad to hear that some artists got access to that Olympic loot, K-Guy being one such artist. It came as a little surprise to hear that a London street artist had penetrated the ring of steel and got some paint on a wall within the complex.

The artist remains anonymous though stated...

'It's much easier to infiltrate behind enemy lines when you have a security pass so this one goes out to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG). Enjoy.'

'NOT THE ONLY KRAY IN THE VILLAGE'

This is a stencil of London's most famous gangsters of the 1960s / 70s. The image of the Kray Twins is synonymous with East London as this was their hunting grounds. Many books, films, documentaries were made about the Kray Twins who have both since died in prison.
